Behind the Lens
Oh hey, I’m Erin, a documentary wedding photographer based in Golden.
If someone would have told me ten years ago when I moved to the Rockies that I was going to be a wedding photographer I wouldn’t have believed them. The truth is I’ve never really been a “wedding” person and I most certainly have never been the photographer to fuss over laying your dress out perfectly or spending hours shooting decor or flat lays.
This might be a bit risky to admit this in my intro but bear with me – what I’ve come to learn (what my couples have taught me) is that weddings don’t have to be cliche, conventional or boring. And, while I may not be drawn to weddings in a traditional sense, I’m deeply motivated and fascinated in documenting people – in all their vulnerabilities, mess, emotions and nuances. There’s no better day to honour that than on your wedding day.

I do my best work with couples I feel connected to and how you feel about your photos starts with the experience you have with your photographer.
Getting to know one another will ensure I document the unique story you deserve. So, pull up a chair, grab a glass of vino and let’s connect over a zoom call. You don’t even have to wear pants.

Confirm
If we hit it off, which I’m sure we will and you feel confident in inviting me to document your story then it’s time to lock in your dates along with your deposit. Then we can all get excited for your big day!

Enjoy.
Relive and share your story whenever and wherever. All my packages include carefully edited, high res digital images shared through an online gallery and delivered to you within 6 weeks of your wedding.
